Re: Debating the Taleo-Vurv Acquisition

Exactly! Who needs all these talent management consultants crawling around when you can outsource hr to your primary staffing provider to deliver everything from vms and recruitment to onboarding and payroll?

Re: Debating the Taleo-Vurv Acquisition

While I agree that functionality is the key, Paul, I must disagree that no one is delivering it today. Perhaps not some of the bigger brand names. But Softscape and HRsmart both have true, full Talent Management suites. You can argue about the depth of functionality in each application (Softscape is beefing up recruiting), but they are integrated, built organically and delivering that value to customers today. Pardon my being self-serving, but I know because at HR Technology, Softscape will be presenting with a 250-year-old 42,000 ee English manufacturer called GKN plc using them all.

Re: Debating the Taleo-Vurv Acquisition

Bill, you are incorrect that Taleo will keep the Vurv offboaring product since a close source of mine at Taleo told me that the Vurv Optimize offboaring product is up fo sale and their is a buyer for it, But who can that be if it becomes a reality?
