My first grader has typing lessons as part of her computer class! I took typing when I was a senior in high school.
My 4th grader has a project due in 2 weeks that has to be delivered in PowerPoint! My 2nd grader knows how to download apps to my iPhone from the Apps store and then teaches me how to use them. Good question, Jason, are you ready? They sure are!
It's up to our generation to make sure that companies embrace vs. fear this change. That change is here and it's time to get ready!
What do you feel the downfall is? Any?
Where might I be able to in-source a kid for my family?
(I'd add a brillantly funny Job Posting here, but my family needs me home for dinner. Maybe another night. -Cheers)
Look forward to the posting. Hope dinner was good![]()
My 3rd grade son started with a site called Club Penguin about two years ago - a social game site where they can see their friends online who are each represented by penguins and then navigate the penguin universe, buying things for the igloo (including plasma tvs!), etc. He's moved on now that's he's "older" to RuneScape, meeting and working on "quests" with players from all over the world. I'm primarily amazed when he tells me about someone from another part of the world that he's collaborating with to conquer a quest. He even asked me to help him start a blog (on Blogger) about short cuts for the Pokemon games on Nintendo DS!
My 2-year old has been enjoying both by Blackberry and my wife's old laptop for nearly a year. I have high hopes he'll be a better trader/investor than his Old Man.
